XtremeXP9, 9-Slot PCI-Express "Switch Fabric" Backplane
- Low cost, high performance back plane
- Nine slot PCIe backplane. Eight x 4 lane slots plus One x 8 lane slot
- All slots implemented as x 16 physical connectors so any width PCIe card can be accommodated
- All PCIe slots are connected to a switch fabric providing a peak system bandwidth of 100 Gb/s
- SBC PICMG 1.3 slot for single board computer
- Up to 4 back planes per system daisy-chained providing a total of 32 slots
- Use as a PCIe expansion backplane for a standard PC using the S-Link and H-Link cards
- Compatible with a standard 4U IPC chassis
S-Link and H-Link Cards
The S-Link can be used instead of a PICMG 1.3 SBC to configure the XtremeXP-9 as an expansion backplane from a standard PC or from other XtremeXP-9 backplanes by connecting to a H-Link card.
